Rust Library in Leesburg is a full-service Passport Acceptance Facility. Trained staff can take photos onsite, help with filling out the forms and file paperwork with the U.S. State Department. Available services:

Please note: Rust Library DOES NOT renew passports. Visit the State Department website to learn if you are eligible to renew your passport by mail.
If you are planning to travel in 14 days or less, you must apply for a passport in person at a U.S. Passport Agency or Center. You must make an appointment in advance by calling 1-877-487-2778.

Tuesday-Thursday: 1-7 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sunday: noon-4 p.m.
All walk-in applications must be finished by 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The queue may become filled prior to these times. When capacity is reached, a notice is placed at the Passport Check-In station and customers will need to visit another time.
Please arrive with your completed application and all supporting documents and copies. Customers will not be placed in the queue until all materials are ready. If you are planning to come at night or on the weekends, we strongly recommend calling 703-777-0323 ahead of time to ensure capacity has not been reached.

LOUDOUN COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY FEES
LCPL fees may be paid with a credit/debit card, check or money order in the exact amount made payable to the County of Loudoun.
LCPL fees must be separate from payments made to the State Department. In other words, payments to the library and the State Department cannot be combined into one check or money order.
