Support both your local branch and your personal bookshelves with good condition, pre-loved books and DVDs for all ages. Find out when the LCPL Friends groups and Advisory Boards are hosting book sales and donation periods below.

All branches also host an ongoing book sale shelf for browsing. Proceeds from sales benefit the branches.

Donations

Each branch accepts small donations of gently used items year-round, and many hold donation periods before the sales listed below. For larger donations, please speak with a staff member.

New hats, mittens, socks, scarves and new/gently used coats (all sizes) are also being accepted for the Winter Clothing Drive. Items can be donated in advance or exchanged for books during the sale, and will be distributed through community partners.
