Loudoun Library Foundation, Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) fund-raising organization dedicated to generating gifts, grants and community support for public libraries in Loudoun County.
The 2012 annual book sale brought in $40,000! All of the money will be used to support Loudoun libraries, including the funding of the LCPL Summer Reading Program. Over 3,100 people came from near and far to find great bargains in used books, movies and music, and to support the Foundation. The Foundation would like to thank all of its amazing volunteers for their hard work, and everyone who came to shop.
The Foundation has found a new home!
The new donation and sorting site is at Exeter Center, at 700 Fieldstone Drive in north Leesburg. We are open for donations of books, DVDs, and CDs on Saturdays and Wednesdays through June 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, except for the holiday weekends of March 30 and May 25.
Donations will also be accepted at Rust Library Saturdays through June 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, excepting the dates listed above. Your donations to our book sale are crucial to our fundraising efforts, and are greatly appreciated. They are typically tax-deductible.
The Foundation’s use of the Exeter Center is made possible by the good will and cooperation of James Legat, Senior Vice President at Avison Young, and Sizdahkhani LP, Exeter Center owner.
The Board of Directors is seeking new members.
