Enter the It's All Write contest Jan. 1-March 1
There is a story only you can tell. Here’s your chance.
Enter Loudoun County Public Library’s It’s All Write Short Story Writing Contest for Teens for a chance to win $200.
Students in Grades 6-12 must submit their entries (one story per student) using the form below between Jan. 1 and March 1. Prizes will be awarded for both middle- and high-school divisions, with $50 presented for third place, $100 for second place and $200 for first place. Winners will be named by author Nina LaCour during an awards party on Saturday, May 11.
Get inspired and hone your storytelling skills during our teen writing-workshop series. Participation in the writing contest is not required to attend these workshops:
· Purcellville Library: Thursday, Jan. 10, 5:30 p.m.
· Cascades Library: Tuesday, Jan. 15 and Thursday Feb. 21, 7 p.m.
· Gum Spring Library: Wednesday, Jan. 23, 5:30 p.m.
· Sterling Library: Wednesday, Jan. 30, 4:30 p.m.
· Ashburn Library: Wednesday, Jan. 30, 7 p.m.
