UPCOMING PROGRAMS

Strange things in the sky have fascinated people for thousands of years, but it was in the 1940s that the number of UFO reports in America skyrocketed. Sightings of aliens, crop circles and alien abductions also increased.

Hear about the history of this phenomena with Michael Summers, a George Mason University planetary scientist and co-investigator in the New Horizons mission to Pluto. He details the difficulties regarding interstellar travel and presents some possibilities for how an advanced civilization might travel between the stars.
