Welcome! We're open seven days a week and committed to serving patrons of all ages and backgrounds. Our collection and programs are designed around lifelong learning and the joy of reading. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our services. We look forward to seeing you!

Computers with Internet access.
Printing (10 cents a page).
Computers with Microsoft Office are available for two hours at a time.
Education games for children 3-8 are available for 30 minute sessions.
Small study rooms.
Book printing with the Symington Press.

Meeting rooms
Can be reserved up to sixty days in advance and are equipped with assistive listening devices and audio-visual equipment.
Accommodate groups of 12, 16 and 150 people.
Computer lab has 15 computers plus one leader station.
Clubs and non-profit organizations can meet free of charge, but for-profit organizations are charged a fee.
LCPL holds a Public Performance License that allows many movies to be shown in the branch.  Search movies.

A.V. Symington Teen Center
With tons of books, 24 computers, gaming systems, two (2) Macs, board games and a maker station, the Teen Center is the place for middle and high school students to be creative, play games, hang out, study, and read.

Get involved
Teen voluteers: Earn community services hours and build your resume.
Rust Advisory Board: Join the team that funds and coordinates key programs.
Donate: Monetary gifts, books and other materials are needed.

Book Sales
The Rust Library has a small ongoing book sale and a large annual sale in early December.
