- Printer, Transend printer (Braille embosser with print), Scanner (for use with Open Book Unbound)

AV Symington Teen Center
The A. V. Symington Teen Center at Rust Library is a place designed for and by teens ages 12-18. With thousands of books, 24 computers, two gaming systems with wide-screen TVs, two Macs, and one self-checkout machine, the Teen Center is a teen’s place to be creative, play games, hang out, study, and read.
- Attend one of the numerous programs we host.
- Earn community service hours by
volunteering up to two hours each week. Shelve books, read to children,
or perform a multitude of other duties that help keep the library in
working order.
- Use the Macs and the creative station computers to make and mashup images, video and music.
- Ask a Teen Librarian for help with homework or your other information appetites.

What is Library Outreach?
The Loudoun County Public Library strives to make all programs and services accessible to everyone. Outreach Services of the Loudoun County Public Library is a resource for those who cannot easily access branch services.
What programs are offered?
Senior Visits:
Outreach Services visits Senior retirement homes, Nursing homes, and Senior lunch sites. Outreach staff delivers pre-selected and requested library materials to residents and care givers of these locations. At senior Independent living facilities, Outreach staff brings a variety of library materials in various formats. Residents choose from a wide selection of genres from old time favorites to current bestsellers. Staff provide on site readers' advisory advice or service and assist in the residents' selection of reading materials. Requests for library materials and information not found during visits are taken and made available at the next scheduled visit.
Books-By-Mail Program:
Through postage free service, the Library Outreach Services mails large print books and other specialized materials to customers who are physically unable to visit the library due to age, disability, or illness whether permanent or temporary. Detention Facilities:
Requests for Library materials from those at the County Juvenile Detention Facility are delivered weekly.
