Daily Life Through History
: This database goes beyond famous people and events. Think of it as a gateway to historical research on how people in different times and places really live: their food, clothing, jobs, pastimes, and more. Includes, primary source documents, articles and images. The “eras” feature allows you to read an overview about what everyday life was like in a specific era such as Colonial America, or Medieval Europe. Doing a project for Women’s History Month? Try typing in “women’s rights” to get a variety of articles about the history of the women’s rights movement, both in the United States and the world.
